We are using OpenLDAP.

The mappings are
LDAP Attribute uid is the Name
LDAP Attribute kerio-Mail-Address is the MailAddress
LDAP Attribute mail is the PreferredAddress

The mapping from openldap.map is below.

For each user, kerio creates 2 email addresses (aliases), i.e.
1. uid<_at_>domain.com
2. preferredaddress<_at_>domain.com

Is it possible that Kerio does not use the uid to create an email address? The user should only have one email address (preferredaddress) and no alias.

Kind regards
Robert

Avoided this problem by doing so in the mapping file:

 <variable>
                <name>Name</name>
                <value><attribute>kerio-Mail-Address</attribute></value>
 </variable>
    <variable>
                <name>MailAddress</name>
                <value><attribute>kerio-Mail-Address</attribute></value>
    </variable>

    <variable>
                <name>PreferredAddress</name>
                <value><attribute>mail</attribute></value>
    </variable>
