When we started Using Kerio to move over from another mailsystem
everything was working fine, but once we hit 50 users performance
started to decline when we hit the 100 user mark the complaints
became very frequent, the most common one was that outlook would
hang and show "Not Responding"

Our Kerio Server started as a VM sharing storage with some other
low usage VM, Running on a Raid 6 with 5 drives on a NAS

After about a year we moved Kerio onto its own Server running 8 drives in
RAID 10. And this has solved our problems

I've been through these forums and the KB in the past but noone
really mentions DISK IO as the first place to start looking

Kerio Connect requires loads of IOPS I suspect because all the mails
are stored as individual files, CPU and Memory are not nearly that important

On Windows your average disk Queue length needs to average less than 2.00
if its over you need to look at your disk subsystem
