Hello,

is it possible to add an alias to a resource, or failing that is it possible to rename an existing resource?

Kind regards

Robert

Hi Robert,

You cannot add an alias to a resource but you can rename a resource however its does require a few steps:

1. Stop Kerio Connect
2. Open the mailserver.cfg in a plain text editor (by default this is located at, Mac - /usr/local/kerio/mailserver, Win - C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer, Linux - /opt/kerio/mailserver)
3. Locate the list name called 'Resource'
4. Change the resource name in the variable name 'Name'
5. Save the changes
6. Start Kerio Connect

This will than allow you to keep all previous bookings in the resource but the old events might not be accessible as the resource username will not match the new one.

I hope this helps,
Vicky
