I'm looking for the best way to handle this situation.

We have 3 users that work in Production, and would like all three of them to receive mail that is sent to production<_at_>ourcompany.com

but we want them to be able to see if the mail has already been read and actioned so there is no repetition.

Using Group account they would all just receive the email but have no way of knowing if one of the others has dealt with it

Hi Kevin,

One way you can achieve this is to create an alias and then point the alias address to a public folder. You can then allow just the 3 users access to the public folder and then if one of those messages is read then that will reflect in the public folder to all 3 users.

Give it a test and see if it will suit your needs.

All the best,
Vicky

Thanks Vicky

I'm testing this out, my initial concern is that mail is easy to miss as it is not coming into an inbox, but I'll carry on trying it out

also as a public folder is automatically gives everyone the permission of owner, this would be better if it could be restricted to groups

That's because you have everyone set to be able to administer the folders. If you turn that off for each user in the Kerio Connect Admin, then you will be able to restrict can do what by turning things back on for the folder. Hope that makes sense.
