Hello,

we noticed a problem with MS Outlook 2010 using more than one accounts in the profile.

As sender should be always the same email adress active when you write a mail. In our case its not. In a profile with 3 accounts the sender field switches between the adresses. Of course you should be able to switch manually but at the very beginning of a new mail there must be always the same adress as sender.

So, how can I fix that problem and set the standard sender?

Thanks!

Okay, i found it.

Check this out:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/outlook-2010/multiple-accou nts-and-the-default-account/

In Microsoft Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013, if you configure your Outlook profile to connect to multiple Internet email (kerio) accounts, an email message may be sent from an account other than the default sending account. This happens because Outlook determines the sending account based on the currently selected data store when a new mail message is created. This change effectively ignores the default sending account setting.

To force all new messages to use the default email account, regardless of which pst file you are viewing, browse to the following registry subkey in Outlook 2010 and add a DWORD named NewItemsUseDefaultSendingAccount:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Opt ions\Mail
DWORD value: NewItemsUseDefaultSendingAccount
Value: 1

In Outlook 2013, the key is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Opt ions\Mail
DWORD value: NewItemsUseDefaultSendingAccount
Value: 1

I tested it and it works. Outlook uses every time the default mail. Of course you can switch to another. But the default sender is fixed.
