I'd like an option to upload in the native format (ie: G711u) packages of files from Asterisk.org.

Is this possible to upload the entire current sounds release such as:

asterisk-core-sounds-en-ulaw-1.4.25.tar.gz

located at: downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/sounds/

And use the Kerio GUI at Under Definitions -> Audio File Library -> Upload

How do I do this to replace all the current prompts in one upload?

You need to go to the "Advanced Options" screen, tab "General".
Find "Default phone language" and click "Configure".
Upload your voiceprompts archive.
Set the new voiceprompts the system default.

Works great. (Once I figured out how to set the system default to new voice files!)

wschild,

Just for a follow up did you set it as default by selecting the newly upload archive from the drop down?

Also, what archive did you end up using and how are you liking it?

Thanks

new sound files are great. Kerio should use a much better default than what they provide.
I downloaded asterisk-core-sounds-en-alaw-1.4.0.tar.gz

I just did the same and I agree. I think we were live maybe 30 minutes before a client made a comment about the standard voice.

Thanks for the info.
