Quickbooks says it supports webmail in 2014. I tried to get it set up and I can't get it to send an email. I used the correct settings - our server name - and the correct port depending on if SSL was selected. A windows pops up asking for a password and the correct password is entered, and the password window just keeps popping up. If SSL is not checked there are no entries in any of the logs, but if I select SSL the following is entered in the security log:
[13/Aug/2014 15:59:43] Failed SMTP login from with SASL method CRAM-MD5.

I know the username and password combination is correct.
What do I need to do to get Quickbooks to be able to send emails through Kerio Connects web interface?

They don't want to use Outlook or Quickbooks mail service.

It looks like Quickbooks is using SMTP, not Webmail, to send mails.

Try to do the following:

Security > Security Policy

Untick "CRAM-MD5"
