Our users are getting below error message

This is an informative message sent by domain.it.us. The server was not able to deliver your mail message

Recipient address rejected: Greylisted

server X is not yet authorized to deliver mail from user1@domain1.com to user2<_at_>domain2.com

This is just a temporary error. The server will continue to attempt to deliver the message. If the message cannot be delivered in the defined time limit you will be informed again.

Which admin setting prevents the users getting this message? I found a setting under

Configuration -> SMTP Server -> Queue Options -> Delivery Status Notification

Are there other settings I should consider?

Kind regards

Robert

Any feedback from Kerio?

The setting I mentioned seems to have helped as none of our users have reported the notification after I changed the setting to 30minutes.

Hi Robert,

There are some DSN messages you cannot turn off and I believe this is one of them. If you would like this to be possible please use the 'Suggest Idea' button and list this as a feature request.

All the best,
Vicky

Thank you Vicky.

The message is fine. It was just arriving too soon. Looks like increasing the setting sorted things out.

Regards

Robert

Hi Robert,

Ah from your initial it looked like you wanted to stop them completely, which you can't do. But the setting you found will help with the frequency and when it is sent. At least you are sorted.

All the best,
Vicky
