Hi,

is there any way to setup TLS client certificates for POP3S , IMAPs etc. in Kerio Connect?

We have here our company CA and have issued TLS client certificates to all computers.
We would like to enforce using this certificates, like in Apple Mail.

How to do this in Kerio Connect? Btw. works fine the exchange and OSX.

Thanks

Henri

Hi Henri,

You can enforce encrypted connections to Kerio via the Web Admin:

Web Admin->Configuration->Security->Security Policy

From there you can select either of these options in the top drop down box:

'Require secure authentication' - Requires the users to send their password securely

'Require encrypted connection' - Requires the users to connection over an SSL secure connection for any protocol e.g. POP3S, IMAPS, HTTPS

So if you want to enforce some security then I would recommend the 'Encrypted Connection'. This may involve some email clients needing to be re-configured to use the secure ports and you will need to import the SSL certificate on the users machines and devices.

I hope this helps,
Vicky

Hi Vicky,

thanks, but this is not what I require. I require TLS CLIENT/DEVICE certificates, issued by our CA.

Thanks
Henri

Webadmin > Configuration > SSL Certificates

From there, you can create new certificates, or import certificates.
