Hello all,
I have a problem in Kerio Traffic Rules regarding Microsoft SQL Server
my scenario :
I have kerio control on public ip : 89.108.x.x and internal ip 172.16.0.3
and i have Ms-Sql server on internal ip 172.16.0.153 with Sql Instance Name : SQLSERVER

I made a rule in kerio traffic rules that map Ms-sql service to the ip 172.16.0.153
but it is not working but its showing that it is being used as shown in the uploaded attachment

Any Help would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi Moehareb.

Please in the machine 172.16.0.153 look if the gateway is set to 172.16.0.3.

OK.

1 - See if the firewall is enabled in the SQL Server. Disable and test.

2 - Add the Service Ping in the rule, in the action, check "log packets" and try to ping.

Paste here the results.

Hello,
Thank you for reply, I figured it out the problem
it is regarding the sql server instance problem
i used default sql server instance name instead of name instance and that solved the problem

Thank you again
