We need to filter emails (bank statements from our bank).
They have always same Sender and Subject but different attachment (one attachment per mail in this case).

Different attachments are named like:
"account1_001.xml", "account1_002.xml", ...
"account2_001.xml", "account2_002.xml", ...
"account1_001.txt", "account1_002.txt", ...
"account2_001.txt", "account2_002.txt", ...

We need mails with txt files to be forwarded to another user but do nothing about mails with xml files (leave them in this Inbox).

Now I don't know of any way to do this with "user filters" - there is only Y/N option "has attachment".

So if there is a way to do this, please tell me. Otherwise I would like to see this filtering option in future versions.

Hi Ada,

You might be able to achieve this in the Kerio old WebMail still. If you login to WebMail and swap to old Web (Go to your name in the top right and then choose Old WebMail). Once you are in old WebMail go to settings->Mail Filters->New. From there you can create a rule with the options:

1.
- Where the From address contains
- Where the message has an attachment

2.
- Forward it to address
- Stop processing more rules

This rule will then forward an email from a certain mail address and has an attachment. You will need to test this to check that it will only forward just the emails with attachments or emails from the same person.

All the best,
Vicky

This can be done in new Kerio Client too. But what I need is:

new filter:
- Where the From address is xxx
- Where the message has an attachment
- Where an attachment file name contains '.xml'
- Forward it to address yyy
- Move to folder AUTOMAT/RECEIVED/_BACKUP
- Mark as read
- Stop processing more rules

So only mails with XML attachments are filtered with this filter.

Hi Ada,

Sadly there is not a way to tell the mail rule to look for a certain attachment type. You can only set the rule to look for an attachment not certain ones. You would have to list this as a feature request via the 'Suggest Idea' button in the Web Admin.

All the best,
Vicky
