Every time I push an update to the server, I don't know what will hit me at the clients Smile There's always some kind of surprise.

All the clients updated fine with the latest version 8.3.2 but one seems to have a problem which does not want to go away.

Error 1714. The older version of Kerio Outlook Connector (Offline Edition) cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group.

- The automatic update failed
- I tried to install the new client manually, it failed
- I removed the old version manually OK, then I tried to manually install and it failed
- I ran the new version of the old Windows installer cleanup utility here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
The problem with this is that if I choose I have a problem with "removing" there is nothing to choose, as I removed the old version manually. If I choose I have problems with "installing" it completes without finding anything wrong.
- I cleaned up the kerio folders and the registry from the kerio keys, installation still fails

I'm basically stuck. I have this problem only on one PC.

I understand this may not be a problem specifically with Kerio, as I have seen other posts with other products issuing the same result, and there are different solutions which I tried, but many of them are specific to other products, like Adobe Flash, Java and so on and these all have some sort of "Uninstall Cleanup Utility" which Kerio does not have...

Other products install/uninstall just fine on this PC, even the Kerio VPN client installs/uninstalls just fine on this machine. Only the Kerio Outlook Connector seems to have gone wrong with no apparent reason. The client has been moving up versions regularly just fine, only this time it failed.

Anybody has some solutions before I will have to wipe the whole machine and start again with a fresh install?

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Stefan
