Hi

Having a problem with Kerio Connect client giving a session expired at random times.

Server is running on Ubuntu server 12.04

I have set session expire timeout option to 2 days.

Tested with Firefox and Chrome same issue.

Has anyone else had this issue since upgrading to 8.3.2 ?

Any ideas on where to begin troubleshooting ?

Cheers
Marc

Is the client such that their IP address could change mid-session? Such as a mobile device moving from tower to tower? If so, in the Admin Panel, go to Advanced Options > Kerio Connect client / Webmail > and uncheck the option "force logout from Kerio connect client if user's IP address changes (prevents from session hijacking and session fixation attacks)"

Hi MarkK

After doing a bit of digging around I have seen that the Kerio connect service has been crashing every so often causing the session expire. I disabled Full text search and so far the problem has gone away. I'll give it a couple more days then maybe enable it again and rebuild the index and see if it all works again.

It's very strange as I have had no trouble like this in 8.2
