Does Kerio run on Outlook on Surface 3 tablets as part of the Office 365 Home?

Hi Bandicoot,

My understanding is that you should be able to install the KOFF connector as usual.

If not, then you should at least be able to use IMAP or POP for your email accounts.

Hi. IMAP and POP3 not suitable in this case, we need calendar contacts etc. Does anyone have a Surface 3 / Outlook / Office 365 Home working with KOFF?

No assistance or guidance from Kerio other than we think. I would have expected the service to have been tested on key operating systems and Office installs before release. re Outlook 2013, we have Outlook 2013 on some desktp and laptop clients, but no tablets. Client wont be buying the Surface 3 tablet and Office 365 Home since we have no idea if kerio is compatible without dropping to pop3.

Here is the answer from Kerio Support:

--------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately since we do not have such a device in Kerio, we could not test if it would work. However, AFAIK Surface 3 Pro runs normal Windows 8.1 and there is no reason why some application couldn't be installed there but we cannot guarantee.
--------------------------------------------------------

It means:
Surface 3 runs only with Windows RT --> no support for Kerio Connect (KOFF)
Surface 3 Pro runs with normal Windows OS --> KOFF Installation should be possible
