Our main email server died two weeks ago. Unfortunately we lost our IT admin and between that and Dell we weren't able to getting it running until now. In the meantime management moved our email hosting to the cloud and now we are retiring the Kerio server.

I've restored the server and can see the email stores (FLD files) and was wondering if there is a way to export any information, like the 'sent items' without having the server fully connected to the network.

I know this post might seem vague. Please let me know if there's any follow up questions.

Hello Dave,

You can export the email files themselves. It would just depend on the service you are moving to if they would accept the .eml files. If you look inside the #msgs folder of the sent items you will see that it will have .eml files, those are the emails. If the new email provider can accept .eml files then you can send them to the new email provider. Otherwise you will need to connect up Outlook or another email client and export the data.

All the best,
Vicky
