hi all
maybe some of those question have been posted in the past, but i can't find them, so i post them here.
First, sorry for my english...

I'm an IT Manager of some theme parks, and i'm evaluating KC as a replacement of current firewall in those sites

Licensing:
1) we have 4 parks, in 3 sites. all owned by the same company. Do i need 3 distinct licenses or one cumulative is enough?
2) The user count in license is per ip, per real user, or per device? I'm asking that because we have, for example, 50 eployee and like 60 POS for payment (no computer, only dumb devices that make 1 connection for transactions).. how many licenses we may need?

Technical:
1) I gave a run with the trial license, and i joined KC to the Windows Domain to have windows users in KC. The thing i can't manage to get working is hostnames instead of IP address when i check active connections. Am i missing something?
2) If i choose KC for all the 3 sites, i'll have to enstabilish site-2-site vpn connection. I have no problem with 2 sites, but the third has the same LAN address space of the main site (10.0.0.0/255.255.0.0 main site, 192.168.100.0/255.255.255.0 second site, and 10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0 third site). I know i cant simply do a vpn with the third, so, is there a way, like n:n mapping, to join those two sites via vpn? Changing all machines/devices ip address in third site is a time consuming/error prone thing i would like to not do...

Thats all for now.. and thanks

A separate license is required for each Kerio Control installation. Ie. it depends on how many firewalls you are going to install. For three sites you need three licenses (each one for required number of users}. All licensed can be registered to the same company.

User count is for physical users. Each user can have up to 5 devices (IP addresses). In you case, for 50 users you can connect up to 250 devices through the firewall to the Internet.

Probably a DNS issue and not working reverse PTR lookups in your network.

You need to have three different network ranges.

I recommend to contact any of Kerio Partners, which can provide you more details and help with Kerio Control deployment. You can find them at http://www.kerio.com/how-to-buy#find
