Hi Folks,

i need help with the workaround:
-----------------------------------
Workaround

Edit server.xml located in %install path%/tomcat/conf/
Below the lines (there are two) starting with "SSLCipherSuite", insert a new line with the following text:

SSLProtocol="TLSv1"

Restart the server.
-----------------------------------

Can someone post the line for me, how it looks like after !?

thx for your help

Thorsten

I worked with XML Notepad 2007 (Windows) and the new line looks like this:

ALL:!ADH:!SSLv2:!EXPORT40:!EXP:!LOW: SSLProtocol="TLSv1"

is this ok!?

Sorry it's a bit late but in case anyone else is interested:-

Edit server.xml located in %install path%/tomcat/conf/

Add the lines highlighted in bold. You need to add it twice once for user area and other for admin area. Add it just below SSLCipherSuite line in both instances.

Quote:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<Server port="4064" shutdown="SHUTDOWN">

<Engine name="Catalina" defaultHost="localhost">

</Server>

Once modified restart Workspace.

Hope this helps someone else.

Thanks,
your tutorial did the trick!
Everything works now fine with EC and ALL browsers (Safari, FF 46.0.1, GC 49) - I don't care about the browser warning since it does not affect the operability of KWS ...
