hi all,

we host kerio connect with 510 mailboxes. mostly our users works via IMAP and apple mail 10.9/10.10.
if i check the status list of open folders i see here 110 to 130 pages. thats are more as 6000 connections.
for kerio is this too much, we have some crashes every day since months.

i search fo a solution to reduce the connections per account, not per IP. any ideas?

thanks, thomas

Hi Thomas,

You cannot limit the connections per account however you can limit the following:

- Web Admin->Configuration->Services->Edit the service->Access and from there you can set a maximum connection limit for the entire server

This option will then cap the connections for a specific service to the value you give it and this may help reduce the crashes however once the limit is reach any new connections attempted will be rejected and your users may notice this and think something is wrong.

I hope this helps,
Vicky
