Can we do per-user voice mail notification preferences?
Some users want an e-mail notification and no notification on their desk phone (auto-delete the message from Kerio, or mark it as listened).
Other users prefer to check voice mail on their desk phone and don't want e-mail notifications.
I figured out how to do this for all users, but I want to make this choice on a per-user basis.
I don't see any per-user VM notification config settings.
Some ideas though:
For users who DO NOT WANT EMAIL notifications, one solution would be a filter rule within their email client to prevent these emails from landing in the inbox (and perhaps move them to a VoiceMail folder that is periodically reviewed/deleted) instead.
We do not recommend that users ONLY receive email notifications for new voicemail. If you absolutely must do this then, for users who DO NOT WANT DESK PHONE notifications, it *may* be possible to find manufacturer documentation that explains how to disable the MWI (message waiting indicator) on each individual phone. Again, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. This change, if performed, is done at your own risk and is not supported by Kerio, but rather by the handset manufacturer.
