I'm in a pretty rough spot for a server I've been brought in to help with. The server doesn't have SSH or VNC configured or enabled, and accessing the local machine loads the GUI but doesn't get past loading a wallpaper. My long term solution is to replace the server. In the short term, the customer would like to be able to continue to manage their email. The problem is that one of the users seems to have disable web administration and now I get a 403 error when attempting to access the page. The server is pretty FUBAR.

So, that's where I'm at. The solution that I've come up with is that I'm hoping to boot to a live CD and edit a config file somewhere that will re-enable the web administration. Is this something that's possible to do? Is there another solution I should look into to restore web administration?

Edit the /opt/kerio/mailserver/mailserver.cfg file and change variables in the Administration table:

  <variable name="AdminAcl"></variable>
  <variable name="NetEnabled">1</variable>
  <variable name="ListenPort">44337</variable>
  <variable name="WebAdminAcl"></variable>
  <variable name="WebNetEnabled">1</variable>

Now you are able to connect from anywhere to the Web administration. Do not forget to restrict it back for desired IP addresses only.
