I am trying to configure Emergency Numbers, however, all the buttons and check boxes are grayed out.

There is a warning "No outgoing route with a non-empty prefix is defined."

The system is running Operator 2.3.3 patch 2 build 3740

I have searched the docs, the kb, and this forum and found no reference to "non-empty prefix".

Any help is appreciated.

You need a direct dialing route available within Call Routing-->Routing of outgoing calls.

In other words, you must configure a route that does not have a required prefix (such as '9').

Hi billbrigg,

when you have a single route with an empty prefix, the "Emergency Numbers" dialogue is indeed disabled. It should not be, it is a bug.

To work around it, you will have to create another route with a non-empty prefix. Then the dialogue should be editable.

Thank you,
Filip
