Hi,

Our KC8 has several local networks, two internetconnections, vpnclients and a vpntunnel to another location (also KC).

Now we try to make a second VPN tunnel to another location. Unfortunally, no KC8 there, but a third party router.

We can not dialout to this device because it states that we do not have the right cryptosettings, but this location can initiate the tunnel to our KC8.

But as soon as the tunnel is up, both internetconnections on our KC8 drop and we have NO internetaccess anymore. As soon as the other end terminates the connection, the KC8 establishes both the internetconnections again and things are running normally.

What can be the reason that our KC8 completely disconnects after the other side brings ups the new IPSEC tunnel?

Both our internetconnections are PPPoE dialup connections (40/3 vdsl and 20/20 fiber) with static IP's.

Regards,

Bart

Solved!

Well, don't use the same sharedkey for an IPSEC Tunnel and IPSEC Server!
