Hi,

My organization is searching for an email solution that suits its size and administration capacity.

One of the main problems that we face is placing triggers on certain inbox (i.e. executives) so that whenever this inbox receives a notification email from a certain party, the previous notification emails should be deleted.

Can such a configuration be done on Kerio server? (note: our users have outlook on their PC where this can be easily configures, however all executives use other smart devices simultaneously to access the same inbox so we need to have the rule on the email server).

The server can't do that.

Assuming it doesn't have to be instant, that could be done with an external server side program that monitors the mailboxes and triggers the desired action when appropriate.

Thanks for your reply.

In case I need to write an external program to serve this purpose, does Kerio have APIs through which I can access a certain mailbox and monitor it?

Thanks,

Not really. They have an API, but it only covers the administrative functions. In other words, only the things you can access through the admin panels. To do mail box operations like this, you either need to program as an IMAP client or do it directly on the server itself.

I suggest using the PHP IMAP extension
http://php.net/manual/en/book.imap.php
