I have got frequently this error message:

ASyncRequest.cpp: Failed to read ActiveSync request data from the client (Content-Length header: 227, Available data: 0). [User: xx<_at_>xx.nl, Device: (A867515A5116F310D2047EB9FExxxx3, WindowsMail, WindowsMail/17.5.9600.20689), IP address:xx.x.x.xx.

Hi Wilco,

Which phone is this happening on? I could only find one reference to this error and it was to do with a corrupt attachment on an email. Can you make sure that Kerio Connect is upto date on the latest version as well please.

All the best,
Vicky

It is not a Phone but a laptop with Windows 8.1 and the app Windows Mail.
Latest version (8.4.0) installed.

Hi Wilco,

Ah I see, I would say you would be better off opening this as a support ticket so that we can progress this issue and get the developers involved with this. Can you please raise a ticket?

Thanks,
Vicky

Wilco,
the error message means that Connect received EAS HTTP request saying it has length of 227 bytes (Content-Length header mentioned in the message) but it was not possible to read anything from requests body(Available data: 0).
The cause with mobile devices is typically that the device lost its network connection. With notebook I bet for some proxy/firewall dropping connections.
Generally, connection was reset unexpectedly so its not possible to reads its data anymore.

Thanks for your explanation. The error appears incidentally. It seems no problem for the functionality sofar.
