Good morning,

I would like to enable call reminder to beep after a call has been placed on hold for a period of time (polycom Sound Point phone). The only article that I found was at this outside link here below (unable to post since I have not posted 5 messages). My guess is the only difference is the name of the cfg files from operator. Can someone shed light on this one? Will the lines mentioned on this link work for Operator?

Please advise,

K Nisby

Hi,

if you want to do it globally for all phones, paste the three configuration lines inside the <PolycomConfig> ... </PolycomConfig> section.

Filip

Polycom main configuration file (the end):
			<login
				dir.corp.user="{$DIRECTORY_USERNAME}"
				dir.corp.password="{$DIRECTORY_PASSWORD}"
				feature.corporateDirectory.enabled="1"
				/>
		</directory>
	</sip>
@ }
    <localReminder call.hold.localReminder.enabled="1"/>
    <localReminder call.hold.localReminder.period="30"/>
    <localReminder call.hold.localReminder.startDelay="60"/>
</polycomConfig>
