Hello,

I'm trying the Kerio Connect server. But we are behind a Symantec Brightmail and we have to validate users before forwarding e-mails.
Then we have to made a LDAP query. But it doesn't work.
The query is:
BaseDN:
fn=ContactRoot

Query:
(|(mail=%s)(mailAlternateAddress=%s))

However, I can connect the same LDAP from Outlook.
Can someone help me?

Hi Anthony,

The Kerio LDAP server is very basic and will only respond with the Users name and email address. So maybe the query needs to query the primary email address instead of 'AlternateAddress'.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction,
Vicky

Hello,

I tried with
(mail=%s)
but it doesn't work.
I also tried with and without the Base DN.

Do you know the correct syntax I have to use?
Many thanks

Anthony

Hello,

I disabled this check for this domain in the Brightmail.
Then it works fine.
The Brightmail is specific I suppose.

Thanks
Anthony
