hi all,

i have Problems with authentication (Kerio connect user) after TestInstallation
Kerio connect 8.4.1 incl. AD extendsion is installed on a Windows 2012 R2 Server
admin Interface works fine
i tried AD Integration in the Domain settings, seems to work, User Import from AD is ok, but i can´t login on the Web Client with any Users, auth error in log files (wrong Passwort ...)
if i try to change Settings for Kerberos 5, i get error: cannot bind to ldap Server
where´s my mistake, do i have to install any other Kerberos extendsions for my Windows Server,

thanks for advice Chris

Is the windows firewall blocking the LDAP requests to the AD domain controller?

Good is better than evil because it's nicer

Make sure the Kerberos realm is properly defined in the advanced settings of the domain.
Make sure the local OS of the Kerio Connect server is joined to the domain.
Make sure the local OS of the Kerio Connect server is pointing to the domain controller for DNS resolution.
If the OS of the Kerio Connect server is Linux, you'll need to modify a local Kerberos configuration file. More info in KB 308 http://kb.kerio.com/308

"Make sure the Kerberos realm is properly defined in the advanced settings of the Domain" was the solution
