I am new here and I hope someone can help me.

I have printer HP LaserJet Pro 400 M425dn MFP connected to the network, everything works fine but the email function (send scans to the email). This error "Username or password is incorrect. Ensure both user account and password are valid." occurs everytime I try to test email configuration on a printer. I am sure settings are correct because webmail works as it should.

Is it possible kerio winroute is blocking this process somehow? How can I check problem's root or go around this issue?

It is most likely to be an email server issue. Please contact the email server admin and ask him to take a look at logs.

Have you had any luck with this? I am having the same issue. Username and password fail when configuring via the HP Scan To Email wizard. I have tried username with or without the domain name as well as in domain\username format with no luck. I have verified the credentials work via web mail.

When I monitor the mail server logs, I don't even see a login attempt in the Security or Audit logs.

I am able to configure SMTP via a Gmail account and this works fine. So it's obviously an issue with the printer communicating with / authenticating to Kerio.
