New computer, fresh install of office 2013 & KOFF with the same old problem as described here. Basically, Outlook/KOFF can't automatically look up an entry from the public contacts folder. Enter a name, click 'check names', nothing. Drill to 'show more/public contact' and it finds the entry immediately. I've made sure the 'use as an Outlook address book' is checked.

Is this an Outlook limitation?

You need to set the default outlook contacts to the public folder if you want it to be automatic. I've never been able to get Outlook to cascade down a list of contact folders.

Agree with ComputerBudda, you need to set the default contact folder of Outlook to Public Folder.

So, this is an Outlook limitation. I figured as much. EMClient has no problem finding all the contacts in one search.

Thanks for the pointers.
