Dear all,
my customer has an old installation with a version 7.x of Kerio connect.
I tested the new offline client. After installation an error message comes up.

So my question is, is it possible to get outlook2013 run with or without offline caching to the Kerio Connect 7.x?

Best Regards,

Heinz

No it is not. You need Kerio Connect 8.0.2 and higher.

Is it possible to update the Server to 8.x and the Clients stay at the old mapi connector?

That is probably too far of a jump. You would be better to update the clients as well.

Is the update of the Server complicated?

No, it isn't complicated, but I'm not sure if you should do any version steps to work your up. Since the release of version 7.0.0, there have been 53 version updates to get to the latest version of 8.4.1.

Hopefully either one of the Kerio Support people can fill in what version jumps you should make, or call support and ask.

This means I can Update directly from 7.x to 8.x?

It looks like, from the Summary, that you should include 8.0 as an incremental upgrade. That Summary section refers you to http://kb.kerio.com/1152 once you're on 8.0 or above.
