Good day,

I am new to this forum business and need your help regarding Grandstream GXW4104 and Operator. We are trying to move from Elastix to Operator and we are using Grandstream GXW4104 and 4108. The other day when we tried to migrate, we were able to make outgoing calls while the Channel Dialing to PSTN Stage Method was set to 1. When we reset it to the default (2), outgoing calls didn't go through. Now, when we called our landline from another phone, we couldn't get any incoming calls but re could hear it the phone ringing through the receiver. Also, the Status page on the Grandstream showed that Line 2 (which had the line connect to it) was receiving an incoming call even though the extensions in our office were not ringing.

We tried to configure Operator (Call Routing - Interfaces and routing of incoming calls) but we still cannot seem to receive external calls. We have the following setting for the Interfaces we have created:

IP address: Grandstream's IP address
Username: Grandstream's login name
Password: Grandstream's password.

We once came across an article which suggested the setting be as above.
Please help!!!!! Sad

What is the SIP configuration of the GXW4104? Can the device act a SIP server (ie. it receives SIP registrations) or does it behave like a SIP client instead?

If it is the client, you need to disable SIP registration in the Operator SIP interface.

You also need to configure the Grandstream gateway to send all incoming analog calls to Operator over SIP.

You may enable "Asterisk Log" messages in Operator's debug log to see if there's any traffic from the Grandstream.

Hi Vladimir, would it be possible for you to connect to my systems using teamviewer so that you can have a look at the settings?

Good day,

Grandstream is being dealt with. Could we schedule a teamviewer session for you to access our system and have a look at the operator settings?

Regards,
John
