Currently I am running Kerio Control as a Hyper-V client. I can get to the firewall's console by using the Hyper-V version of RDP.

How can one get to this console when the appliance is NOT running as a VMware, Hyper-V client. This would be necessary if the web client becomes unstable.

RealVNC has a remote client for linux, but may not work with the Kerio linux.

Anyone have any ideas?

If you are referring to the bare metal, software appliance, you could use KVM over IP, or build the system using a server board with IPMI.
