Just updated from 8.4.3 to 8.5 and as always the update is a breeze (rpm on Linux server).

However, many clients have reported problems reading mail after the update.

On iOS devices (5s and iPad Air and later) running latest iOS 8.3 many mails now appear truncated or blank. These messages typically show the "Download complete message" link and shows zero bytes remaining. We have found no way to completely download these messages on iOS devices instead they have to read them on their computers.

Inboxes on several iOS devices no longer refresh automatically indicating a problem with Push? All users have rebooted their devices. We are using the stock applications for Mail, Contact and Calendar. This has been working flawlessly until the update. I have restarted Kerio Connect on the server.

Windows 8.1 users are having problems with the updated Outlook Connector in Outlook 2013 (15.0.4719.1001 32 bit on 64-bit Windows 8.1 Pro). Outlook 2013 is now a bit more unstable with freezes ("Application not responding") for 15-30 seconds a couple of times every hour.

Hopefully we will be able to sit this one out until there is a Kerio 8.5.1 ready.

/Mattias

Please read the Release Notes document before installing each version. Thank you.

You need to disable/re-enable account on all iOS devices with Exchange ActiveSync and create new accounts on other devices after server upgrade.

Hi Mattias,

The KOFF connector for Outlook doesn't need to have a profile remove and re-added for the 8.5 update. You just need to upgrade the KOFF connector but the users should be able to do that.

All the best,
Vicky
