Hi Guys,

Can anyone help us for a issue with Kerio Connect. We've an issue we are facing: Some Mails with specific domains will not be delivered to the inboxes of the kerio mail server. I've checked all the Spam/Antivirus stuff. And also all Protocols for this issue. But i have no idea why this is happend. The bad thing is, the sender will not get any error message. So the sender means the mail is out and delivered, but we never received it.

We need to fix this issue so fast as possible. It would be great if someone can help us for this issue.

thanks,

vinoth

You need to be very specific with domains that have issues. For example, 90% of my email issues are with yahoo mail. I've given up trying to get that fixed, yahoo is screwed up.

we have for example 2 domains:

bluewin.ch
bmm.ch

bluewin.ch > is in swiss one of the most used free domain from the leading ISP here.

is there any way to fix this?

the unusual thing is that the sender will not receive any error message. so thats why the sender think's that the mail is sent.

Don't know nothin' bout no swiss domains. <G> have you run mxtoolbox to make sure that your domain is correctly set up?

Did you try some logging? Like enabling SMTP server logging in the debug log? "it does not work" is not an awful lot of information to go on.

In the Debug log, you have to enable "SMTP Server" messages.

Then send a mail from bluewin.ch and post the relevant log entries here.

In the debug log you can enable messages for the SMTP server, they should show the connection attempt and commands sent by the sender to your server. Just right-click in the debug log window and then 'messages' to get to the logging optons

One question I would ask is what is in front of your Connect server? Is there a firewall or something that does packet or protocol inspections? Years and years ago, with a different mail server, we had a WatchGuard device that was doing protocol inspections. We had the same issue with some domains we couldn't get emails from or send to. It was the Watchguard dropping the stuff that it felt was not compliant enough to let through. Turned off that inspection and the emails started to flow.

Is that all of it? Is there not any commands that were sent, such as EHLO or SENT REPLY? There should be more, or does it not get that far?

Maybe turn on the Network Connections And SSL messages in the debug log.
