Hello,

we're running a 389DS LDAP server on RHEL 6. We're currently planning a migration to RHEL 7.

Does Kerio Connect support 389DS as LDAP server. In the documentation I only find references for AD and OpenLDAP with OS X.

389DS is the LDAP server from Fedora (see directory.fedoraproject.org).

We're thinking about replacing our current mail system but we can only consider Kerio if it allows us to connect to 389DS and retrieve all the user information from the directory.

Is Kerberos a requirement for Kerio? 389DS does not offer Kerberos but FreeIPA which uses 389DS for the LDAP part would offer Kerberos. FreeIPA is also on our radar.

Are there customers who might already run Kerio with 389DS or at least an LDAP server on Linux.

Many thanks in advance

Alex
