Hi,

This question leads on from this thread which now shows how to configure remote Snom phones for ATT UVerse.

Is there any way to get template overrides to remote hardware phones if Network > Hardware Phone Provisioning is set to Local Clients?

Can it be done via port 443, for example?

Thanks,

ft.

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. If I was to connect a remote IP phone to Operator, I would connect the two locations using a VPN tunnel and then use Operator's provisioning system. Otherwise I would configure the phone manually just as you did in the other thread.

Best
Filip

Once the remote phone is initially configured manually is there any way to push out settings to the phone from the server?

For example, LDAP settings, rest screen, etc?

Thanks,

ft.

No, or at least I am not aware of any way how to do it.
