I'm running Kerio Connect server under XP. As I've read in 8.5.1 release notes,

* Fulltext and instant messaging services upgraded to Java 8.

I'd like to know if there is a problem applying this update under XP environment due to java 8 lack of support on XP.

Is the indicated item about instant messaging applicable to the server or just to client?

I mean: can I apply the 8.5.1 update on the server (under XP) without problem or should I worry?

Thanks in advance.

Thnaks for your answer.

Ok. I understand, but as you'll understand, I'm not willing to change the OS right now because of a number of reasons. So I'd like to know if anyone knows that the latest version (8.5.1) will work or not on XP.

Thanks again.

Just to be clear, you are asking about running Kerio Connect 8.5.1 using XP as the server, right?
