howdy

i have our server setup to allow ALL email to come in to the server and be routed thru to an admin acount

from there... spam is routed to the junk folder

what i need to be able to do... is go thru the junk folder... select a number of messages that can be deleted.. and... if there are any false-positives... add the address to the whitelist

HOWEVER... when i access the junk folder.. a message is always selected... i can then shift-click to select the rest in the folder to delete... once done... a new batch of messages loads... with one of them selected

all well and good.. except that... it appears that the item that is selected seems to trigger some sort of background auto-reply?... as... i am now getting all sorts of spam in my inbox.. that has not been tagged.. but.. is similar / the same as the messages that were loaded in the above process

is there anyway that i can load the junk folder.... select messages to be deleted WITHOUT actually having any of the actual emails loaded/selected/read?

thanks
