To anyone testing El Capitan, my experience was that after upgrade:

1. The account pointing to my Kerio Connect server in Contacts.app was removed
2. Reinstallation using the Kerio Connect installer fails
3. Manual setup of a Contacts account pointing to my Kerio server fails

So, no contacts so far in 10.11

If anyone has any suggestions for a workaround let me know.

Contacts.app crashes with account of any type. It's not possible to use this app in 10.11 preview.

Good to know. I wonder why that isn't acknowledged in the 10.11 public beta release notes: https://developer.apple.com/library/prerelease/mac/releaseno tes/General/rn-osx-10.11/#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40016209-CH1 -DontLinkElementID_4

Unless this is a 32bit compatibility issue they mention.

In the GM (and previous betas), it's not poosible to subscribe to the public contacts. It just show the personal contacts instead.

There are numerous reports to Apple regarding this CardDav issue in El Capitan and yes it is still broken in 10.11 Golden Master Sad

Just about to try 10.11.1 beta but from what I have heard it is still broken in that as well.

I did get a hint from Kerio that 8.6 might fix it from their end.

Yep still busted in 10.11.1 beta.

I haven't tried with public contacts, but I have been able to setup a CardDAV account in Contacts on El Capitan. I've been able to do this from the start. The only way I know how to setup public contacts is to use the Kerio Account Assistant, but that's not likely to work due to the fact that it hasn't been upgraded to work with El Capitan yet.
