Hello Kerio users + developers,

we have a CRM Software product that synchronizes Kerio E-Mails via Outlook. The problem we are having is with SENT mails:

Mails in the SENT folder are not being synchronized to Outlook - and from there not to our CRM software, and are thus they not visible in our CRM software Sad

The mails can be seen in the Kerio web app, but not in outlook. (See images)

- How come the web app can see the sent mails, but outlook can't?
- Is there a setting in Kerio to do this for me?
- Does our software have to save it's own copy in Outlook?
- But with the Kerio KOFF connector Plugin our automated sync-system cannot create an email from/AS the user only in their name.

Is anybody able to give me some pointers, how this problem is to be solved?

FYI: Here is an overview of the system:

Mails are RECEIVED and imported into our software via MS Outlook:

Kerio Server -> Kerio Connect KOFF -> Outlook -> (FileMaker Plugin) -> CRM Software

Mails are SENT out of our software via SMTP directly to the Kerio Server:

CRM Software -> SMTP -> Kerio Server -> Email -> Email recipient

Thanking you for any help

Email is stored in the Sent Items folder by sending client. Ie. if your CRM software uses only SMTP and does not put the copy of email into Sent Items folder then there is no copy of the message in sender's mailbox.

thanks ... It occurred to me as I was writing, that that is probably the case.

So the next problem is: "Send as"

Seeing as our Email sync is processed by an automated process which talks to outlook via an administrator account, it has to have permission to send mails on behalf of the user.

- Is it possible (using the Kerio Connector Offline Plugin) for the administrator to create an email and send it AS the user, instead of FOR the user?
