I'm not sure if this problem is specific to Kerio, but wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Our client is running MYOB Premier 17, Outlook 2013 and using our Kerio service.

MYOB uses Outlook to send emails, but we've discovered that this only works when the default data file is a local PST file - when using Kerio's data store, MYOB will create the PDF file but won't be able to create an email in Outlook. The error is "The attachment file was created successfully, but there was an error writing it."

Creating a local PST file and setting it to be the default data file solves this, but becomes problematic as the sent items don't go where the user expects them to go.

Any ideas?

Hi guys,

Was there any resolution to this issue? If so, can you please post it here as I am experiencing the same issue at a site.

As a temporary solution, I found that the only way I can get emails out of MYOB using Kerio MAPI (Outlook 2010) was to close Outlook, have the client create the item in MYOB, send it to email, then open Outlook again and the email gets sent correctly. Unfortunately, this is not viable as a long term solution.
