We are connecting our office to a data center that has a kerio device right now. We have used the vpn client without issue for single testing, but we want to get a hardware solution so that every computer does not need to have its own vpn connection to it.
Our current router has no vpn support at all, so we are looking into getting a new device.

Is there any recommended, supported, or compatible vpn routers that will work without issues with kerio? Or should we just go with a kerio device itself? there are less than 10 people in our office.

thanks

You could get a Kerio Control 1120 appliance. This would make it VERY easy (as well as reliable & secure) to establish a site-to-site VPN tunnel between your two locations using Kerio's proprietary VPN solution.

Your other option is to use another brand and connect the sites (Kerio Control and 3rd-party router) via IPsec. This can be perceived as complex if you don't have a lot of experience with it.

We had considered setting up the appliance, but for our situation it feels like a real router would be best.

So are you saying any vpn router that supports ipsec should work properly? i just want to make sure we don't end up with something that will have connectivity or compatibility issues.

thanks
