With the wrong server name in the certificate you get this error and the Free Busy search contains only ////////

I am posting this with the hope that tech support create it as a KB item so other people do not waste hours trying to find it!

The fix;

Create the new certificate in Kerio Connect as normal and record the server name you use for the certificate.

In Outlook; File Options Calendar Calendar Options alongside "Change the permissions for viewing Free/Busy..." click [Free/Busy Options]

Edit the server name to match the server name on the certificate;

OK & close the Options window

Close Outlook.

Import the new certificate on your workstation by going to mail.yourservername.com, double click the down loaded certificate and install to the local "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" as normal.

Open Outlook and test you can see the correct Free Busy information.

Sorry but that article only covers loading the certificate, the problem of failed free/busy in Outlook after changing the Certificate Name also requires the change detailed above to this field in Outlook (2010) - "Change the permissions for viewing Free/Busy...".

In brief - to change the server name in the certificate you also need to change the server name in Outlook in the "Change the permissions for viewing Free/Busy..." field.

I could not find this in any Kerio documentation or google searches.
