This usually indicates a mail loop. Have you run both the sending and receiving domains through MXToolbox to see if they're blacklisted or if they have any other warnings/alerts raised by any chance?

DNS MX records and A records? Anything pointing to the loopback IP 127.0.0.1?

Hi , Thanks for the reply. this is happening for all recipients at the example.com so i dont believe it to be a forwarding loop.

I have run the domain through mx tool box both of them and neither show any errors.

I dont believe its a problem at the sender end it has to be at the recipient.

But Is there anyway of me proving this ?

Thanks

Logging the delivery would be a start. Enable 'SMTP client' in the debug log, that may give a hint what happens.

Hi thanks for the reply. We have an anti-spam filter which the mail is coming from and its showing the message as delivered with the following status:
250 2.0.0 1vx8h18pvu-1 Message accepted for delivery

It has to be a problem with the recipient end right ? doubt they're on kerio.

Yes, it is probably a problem on the receiving end. You should contact their postmaster to look into it.
Can you send mail to the recipient? This may help them locating the problem.

Hi Clan,

all of our users can email them normally its just when the user is on site with this certain client and using there wifi.

But the wierd thing is is that the mail bounces back even when using webmail?

The 554 response is usually created by a mail loop, the logs on your clients server should show if it is part of the loop. If it is not, then your side is clean and you, or your client, should contact the admins on the receiving server. That is really all you can do to resolve this.
