I am using kerio mail server 5.7.7 and when the user sends an email it does not store it in the sent items folder like it said it would in the settings menu..

This happens for every user that is installed..

Environment:

Redhat Linux 9.0

I've had users reporting this too in 6.0.3 running on OS X 10.3. Anyone have any ideas?

Is this happening to web mail users, is it exclusive to a specific mail client, or is it happening to everyone regardless of how they connect?

Outlook users connected via IMAP will not see messages in sent or deleted items (sever side) due to limitations (intentional limitations according to Microsoft) in Outlooks's IMAP functionality.

Cheers.

Do you use disk quotas?

I've had users report it with Mozilla 1.7.3 and Netscape 7.x in Windows, and Outlook Express on Mac OS 9.

We do use disk quotas, but none of these users were near their limit, and at least one of them has no quota set.
