Hi All,

Hope someone has some genius idea out there for me.

I have a client with Kerio Connect who uses mimecast as a host. All their mail gets left at the host after download - their company policy within the group.

Mimecast have instructed us to change the POP hostname as the old hostname will be obsolete shortly.

When I go and change the hostname in the POP Delivery settings it re-downloads every mail since the mailbox was created 2 years ago. This will cause a huge problem data wise an for the user having to deal with thousands of old emails.

The mimecast webmail has no options for managing the folders so I can't even move the mail out of the Inbox.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Gary

1 option would be to make a dummy user.
point the new pop download to here
download all the old messages
and then point to the correct mail user.

Thanks Whizkidz, that may be my only option, although there are thousands of messages in 25 mailboxes, really was hoping to avoid that kind of data download.
