Hi everybody,

I used to run Kerio Connect with external Eset Security for Kerio antivirus.
Everything was fine, until I update this weekend to the latest version (8.51).

Now Eset warns me that mail server protection is disabled. If I try to re-enable it, it seems to be ok until Eset restarts Kerio, and complains again with protection disabled !

If I log into web admin, "Use external antivirus" option is there and checked, but will go away If I restart Kerio. And if I check C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\plugins\avserver\Avirs, there is inside a dll called "avir_esk.dll".

What's happening, as v. 8.50 worked fine ?

I do not know ESET (sorry), but there were no changes to code related to external antivirus engines between Connect 8.5.0 and 8.5.1.

Ok, thank you for this quick response. Is it possible to downgrade to v. 8.5.0 ?

Yes, downgrade is possible - you should first uninstall existing version but leave the data, then install the older version.
But I do not think that the problem is caused by version 8.5.1 because it has no changes related to external antivirus engines.

Thank you Lukas, problem is solved by reinstalling eset security for Kerio.
