Hi,

i created a set of small php scripts to work with contacts ( insert and get more contacts at once into/from contacts folders )

These scripts worked pretty well until last KC update.

Now i didnt get any public foder in return of method "Folders.get" - only private folders. Users got access to these public folders from web client (they can enter into them ,display and edit contacts, etc )

But it looks like method "Folders.getPublic" works.

Did you change a way how to handle public folders in API?

Does it mean that there no longer is a way to access public folders via the API?

No. It means you have to use Folders.getPublic instead of Folders.get

before API update :
$folders = $api->sendRequest('Folders.get');
foreach ($folders['list'] as $folder) {
  if ($folder['placeType'] <> 'FPlacePublic') continue; // Process only public folders
  // ...
}

after API update :
$folders = $api->sendRequest('Folders.getPublic');
foreach ($folders['list'] as $folder) {
  // you don't need to test placeType now
  // ...
}
