We noticed that Apple Mail ignores the flag colours. On the Mac, you can flag a message using one of seven different flag colours--for example, you might use red for messages that need immediate attention, and blue for messages requiring further research before you can reply.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Flag a message „blue" on a Mac Pro.

2) Open the same message on another Mac. (Same OS, same mail settings)

----> The Message shows up with RED flag instead of BLUE

We're using standard IMAP as Account Typ on OS X 10.10.5. Can anyone else confirm this behaviour with a Kerio account?

Hi B-tom

I'm sorry to say that with IMAP this isn't possible, it only stores a basic flag which then gets the default colour.

I believe that using an Exchange account does support coloured flags, but this has its own limitations in use.

Imap is the better of the two options.

I hope this helps.

Thank you, Mark.

Yes, this is useful. At least it is a clear statement. Anyway I have opened a Apple Bug Report on this issue, too.
