Hello,

Before version 2.4 my inbound numbers used to route to certain extensions. Now it seems all numbers are diverted to the first extension in the list.

So, ext 100 gets all calls even though 343 has an extention defined.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

it seems Operator is not able to match the called's number in the SIP packets with the external numbers field in Operator.

There are two possibilities:
1. The provider doesn't send the DID number in the "INVITE request line" but uses a different SIP header, for example "To". You can try to change the value of "Read Called number from" to the "To header" on the "SIP Details" tab.
2. Another possibility is that the provider sends the number in a different format than what is configured in the "External number" field. Since you wrote that it worked prior the upgrade this is less likely.

To analyze the situation:
1. Make a packet dump and find the INVITE requests (you will need wireshark).
2. Or enable debug logs: asterisk, asterisk(detailed) and search for INVITE from the sip provider.
3. Or go to call history, display the hidden fields and focus on the "External number" column.

Our support team should be able to help you with the matter so feel free to contact them.

Best
Filip

Thanks Filip,

This worked:
"change the value of "Read Called number from" to the "To header""

Thank you very much, big help.

Thanks,

David
